Payment information

• Razorpay processes all payments. We do not store card numbers, CVVs, or banking credentials.
• We store: payment IDs, amounts, currency, status, and the product/pack purchased.

Usage data

• Pages and topics you visit, time spent
• AI tutor queries and responses
• IP address, browser type, device information
• Referral source (how you arrived at HireArc)

Communications

• Emails you send to support and our responses
• Any content you submit via the platform

• To provide, operate, and maintain HireArc
• To process payments and grant content access
• To personalize the learning experience (e.g., next-topic suggestions)
• To send service-related emails — account confirmation, payment receipts, important platform updates
• To improve the platform and develop new features
• To prevent fraud, abuse, and violations of our Terms
• To comply with legal, tax, and regulatory obligations

We do not sell your personal data to third parties for advertising.

We share data with the following processors as required to operate the platform. Each handles your data per their own privacy policies:

• Supabase — authentication and database storage
• Razorpay — payment processing (India)
• Google Cloud / Gemini — AI tutor responses
• Google Drive — storage of premium PDF content
• Vercel — application hosting and content delivery
• Sentry — error tracking and diagnostics (optional)
• Upstash — rate-limiting and caching (optional)

HireArc uses cookies and similar technologies for:

• Authentication (keeping you signed in across pages)
• Session management and preferences
• Basic analytics on page views and performance

You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but core features (login, payments, AI chat) may not work correctly without them.

• Active accounts: we retain your data for as long as your account is active.
• After account deletion: we retain certain records (payment history, support tickets) for up to 24 months for legal, tax, and dispute-resolution purposes.
• Aggregated and anonymized data (which cannot identify you) may be kept indefinitely for analytics.

You may:

• Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Opt out of non-essential email communications

HireArc is intended for users 16 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe we have, please email us and we will delete it.

We use industry-standard security practices: HTTPS encryption in transit, encrypted password storage, role-based access to internal systems, and reputable third-party processors. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials safe.

Your data may be processed in countries where our service providers operate (primarily India and the United States). By using HireArc, you consent to such processing.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or via a platform notice. Continued use of the service after a change constitutes acceptance.
